Minimum wage to increase in Kamchatka starting January 1, 2026
Beginning January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Kamchatka will be raised to 70,442 rubles, according to the press service of the Kamchatka Territory Government.
The relevant document was signed as part of a trilateral agreement between regional authorities, trade unions and employers’ associations.
“It is important that such decisions have a direct impact on people’s lives, give Kamchatka residents confidence in the future, and reinforce the understanding that their work is valued,” head of the Kamchatka Territory Government Yulia Morozova said.
The agreement outlines key areas of the region’s socio-economic development, including employment support, growth in real wages, the creation of safe working conditions and the preservation of social guarantees for Kamchatka residents.
