Government to allocate over 1 billion rubles to Kamchatka to provide fuel in winter
The funds will be used to buy furnace oil and enable stable operation of boiler houses and thermal power plants that will supply the region with electric power and heat, Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin said.
In addition, the Government is implementing large-scale programs designed to increase availability of natural gas, including as part of the program to connect social infrastructure to gas supply.
“A marine LNG import terminal is being built in Kamchatka,” Mikhail Mishustin added.
