Receiving applications for the Arseniev Far East Literary Prize is open

To take part in the contest, Russian and foreign writers are to present a fictional or documentary text in Russian on the past, present or future of the Far East.

The jury will choose the best works in three categories: short prose, long prose and prose for children. The total prize-fund makes up 1.5 billion rubles. In addition, the contest includes a special nomination: “For contribution to the development of the Far East.”

The bid campaign of the prize new season will last until June 30, 2026. Further details are available on the official website.

The contest was established at the initiative of Deputy Prime Minister – Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev.
