A large-scale exhibition Arctic: Pole of Color will open in the Tretyakov Gallery building in Kadashevskaya Embankment on December 12 to mark the 500th anniversary of the Northern Sea Route development.

The exhibition will present more than 130 works in a variety of genres and techniques revealing the periods of living in the high latitudes from the 18th century to present time.
