In the first six months of 2026, residents of priority development areas and the Free Port of Vladivostok generated 305.7 billion rubles in export revenue. This represents more than two-thirds of their total export revenue for all of 2025, according to the press service of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.
By the end of 2025, a total of 407 resident companies were exporting goods and services, representing a wide range of industries.
“Preferential regimes in priority development areas and the Free Port of Vladivostok enable investors to launch new production facilities quickly and enter foreign markets sooner. Exporters include companies from a wide range of industries, from mining and metallurgy to aerospace, machine-building, petrochemicals, gas chemistry, and logistics. Residents operating under these preferential regimes are expanding their export destinations and increasing trade with Asia-Pacific countries. This helps reduce dependence on traditional markets and boost export revenue,” said Managing Director of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation Sergei Skaly, who is in charge of investment projects noted.
In 2025, mining and metallurgy accounted for 290 billion rubles in exports. Fisheries and aquaculture ranked second, with 93.8 billion rubles, followed by transport and logistics, with 38 billion rubles. Together, these three sectors accounted for 95 percent of total export revenue.
