The conference will take place on October 21-22 at the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute (AARI) in St. Petersburg.It is expected to bring together more than 130 experts from 40 organizations, with over 30 presentations scheduled.Participants will discuss research findings on hydrometeorological conditions and the environmental state of continental shelf waters and major river estuaries. They will also explore prospects for further research in connection with the economic development of Arctic waters, river estuaries and river-adjacent coastal areas.The discussions will focus on developing common approaches to organizing and conducting comprehensive monitoring of water bodies in the Russian Arctic.Further information is available on the AARI website.
