The jury has already received 342 films from entrants across Russian regions during the fourth season of the national Far East – Land of Adventure competition for the best journey across the Russian Far East and the Arctic. This is 12 percent more than during the same period last year, said project initiator Yury Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, at a meeting of the Council of the Far Eastern Federal District.The Walking Trip category proved to be the most popular, with 205 videos submitted. The Water Trip category attracted 49 films, while 43 were submitted in the Arctic Journey category, 28 in the Winter Journey category and 17 in The Paths of Victory category.Among the Far Eastern regions participating in the competition, the Sakhalin Region leads in the number of films submitted, with 82 videos inviting people to visit the region. Fifty films are devoted to journeys across the Khabarovsk Territory, while the Primorye Territory ranks third, with 49 films submitted.Among the Arctic regions, the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area leads the way, with 13 films devoted to journeys across the area. The Nenets Autonomous Area ranks second, with seven videos, while the Arkhangelsk Region and the Komi Republic share third place, with six videos about each region.Professional travelers and amateurs, as well as children accompanied by adults, can take part in the competition.
