As of end of June, 30 percent of roadworks on 17 ssections of regional motorways with 110 kilometers of total length are completed in the Khabarovsk Territory under the Infrastructure for Life national project, the regional Government’s press service reports.Currently, one-kilometer-long section of the approach road from the 9th kilometer of the Khabarovsk detour to the Matveyevsky Highway is nearing completion.Asphalt paving has begun ahead of schedule on two sections of the approach road to the village of Druzhba. Work is in progress on five kilometers of the road from the Khabarovsk – Ilyinka – Rakitnoye – Garovka-1 – Gorky township regional motorway and on 14 kilometers of the road section from the Vostok Federal Highway on the opposite side.In the Khabarovsk District, roadworks are being pursued on the Khabarovsk – Michurinskoye – Fyodorovka – Smirnovka – Galkino road, the Krasnaya Rechka – Kazakevichevo detour, and the approach roads to Chyornaya Rechka and Petropavlovka.Vigorous work is in progress on road sections with almost 37 kilometers of total length in the Komsomolsk District, involving the Komsomolsk-on-Amur – Amursk and Khabarovsk – Lidoga – Vanino roads with an approach to Komsomolsk-on-Amur, as well as the Selikhovo – Nikolayevsk-on-Amur regional motorway. In addition, bridges across Lake Mylka and the Pongdan River are being repaired.In the Ayano-Maysky District, preparatory work is being done to revamp bridges on the Ayan – Nelkan motorway.In the Vanino District, the approach road to the village of Mongokhto is being paved. In the Sovetskaya Gavan District, roadside ditches are being weeded of scrub. In the Lazo District, workers are carrying out the earthwork for bus stop pavilion and installing curb stones on the Pereyaslavka – Argunskoye road section.It is being planned to complete the whole amount of work by the mid-fall. The federal budget has allocated for the project 3.8 billion rubles, while the total sum to be spent to repair roads of regional importance in the Khabarovsk Territory amounts to almost 5 billion rubles.

As of end of June, 30 percent of roadworks on 17 ssections of regional motorways with 110 kilometers of total length are completed in the Khabarovsk Territory under the Infrastructure for Life national project, the regional Government’s press service reports.
“Owing to this large-scale national project, the Khabarovsk Territory is upgrading transport accessibility of populated localities. This makes the region more appealing for investors and comfortable for its residents,” a spokesperson for the local Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure said.
Currently, one-kilometer-long section of the approach road from the 9th kilometer of the Khabarovsk detour to the Matveyevsky Highway is nearing completion.
