Presidential Plenipotentiary at the opening of the 10th Russia-China EXPO
Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Zhang Guoqing attended the opening of the 10th Russia-China EXPO.
According to Yury Trutnev’s site, this year, the total exhibition space reached 12,000 square meters. The Russian section covered 4,500 square meters, where 250 organizations displayed their exhibits.
“We presented our domestic hardware, including helicopters, and showed technological achievements. We should continue the interaction between our countries and exchange technologies. It’s because technologies create the possibility for the countries to develop in the contemporary world,” underscored the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.
The Russian section represents 16 regions, including Amur, Arkhangelsk and Murmansk regions, Trans-Baikal, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk, Primorye territories, republics of Buryatia, Komi, Sakha (Yakutia), as well as Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area-Yugra. The Sakhalin Region and the Jewish Autonomous Area brought their products to the Made in Russia Festival-fair as well.
The EXPO is being held with the support of the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development, the organizers from the Chinese side include the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province.
