The event is scheduled for May 16 at the exhibition and educational facility Poles of the Earth (Association of Polar Explorers), established on the initiative of Arthur Chilingarov.
Visitors will be able to see the first color photos of the Russian Arctic, taken over 100 years ago by artist and polar explorer Nikolai Pinegin, a member of Georgy Sedov’s expedition.
The participants will narrate the history of the legendary Travelers Club and the expeditions of Thor Heyerdahl, and they will unveil a photo exhibition dealing with the 2007 high-latitude and deep-water Arctic exhibition.
Admission is free by prior registration.
