About 200 people, including more than 20 children, have been evacuated by air ambulance service from Kamchatka hard-to-access areas this year already, the Kamchatka Territory Government press service reports.According to Chief Physician of the Kamchatka Territorial Disaster Medicine Center Rustam Mullugalyamov, patients are also evacuated beyond the peninsula, to major federal centers.More than 15 patients were evacuated to federal centers beyond Kamchatka. Almost every day aircraft fly to various locations on the peninsula to come to rescue Kamchatka residents and guests in need of medical aid as soon as possible,” he emphasized.It is reported that the amount of financing for the air ambulance service has increased more than five times over the recent years thanks to the federal support.
