A modular data processing center was launched in Yakutia in 2022 and has since ensured reliable data processing and storage for government information systems – an especially critical function in the Far North, according to the press service of the government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).The regional Ministry of Innovation, Digital Development, and Info-Сommunication Technologies noted that the center currently supports data operations across key sectors, including healthcare, education, housing and utilities, finance, and emergency services.The center has strengthened the resilience of digital services, expanded capacity for hosting IT resources for government agencies and businesses, and enabled the integration of state information systems.“The center’s infrastructure includes more than 30 units of domestically produced equipment. It utilizes solutions from Yadro, Rikor, Quantum, Depo, and Aquarius. The use of domestic technologies enhances information security and supports technological independence,” the ministry added.The center also supports regional digital platforms, including the e-services portal, the unified 112 emergency call center, emergency and fire monitoring systems, an intelligent transportation system, a unified payment document service, and the automated multifunctional service center system. This enables residents of Yakutia to access healthcare, housing and utilities, and social services remotely.In addition, the center’s infrastructure is widely used by regional government bodies and affiliated institutions, such as the 112 call center, the Center for Strategic Studies of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the office of the head of the region and the regional government, as well as other agencies.
