The new benefit will reimburse women who have been referred for extra-corporal fertilization; they will get up to 100,000 rubles back for services not covered by mandatory medical insurance, as per the press service of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area Government.
The list includes over 30 procedures covered by the certificate, including studies of donor embryos, their storage and transportation, gene profiling and medication therapy.
All women registered at local medical clinics and permanently residing in the Yamal Peninsula can obtain certificates for subsequent refunds. Medical clinics will reimburse them following their discharge from hospitals with the required documents.
