These changes shall apply to families siring their third offspring since January 1, 2026. Maternity capital should be spent over a period of five years following the birth of the third baby, as per the press service of the Government of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.Families can use the money for improving their living conditions in the region, including the repayment of mortgages, or obtaining medical treatment in any part of the country. These payments can be spent on any medical services, including those not covered by mandatory medical insurance.Yamal has been implementing the regional maternity capital program since 2012. Parents with two children receive 150,000 rubles, and those with four children and more are entitled to 500,000 rubles.
