Winners of the grants’ contest will obtain lumpsum payments, including 500,000 rubles for Ph. D. holders and one million rubles for experts with DSc degrees. The participants’ work record should not exceed five years, as per the press service of the Government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area.Projects studying permafrost layers and climate change will be prioritized. Research results will be sent to the Federal Center for Integrated Arctic Research for evaluation. The experience thus obtained will be used to draft sustainable infrastructure solutions, those ensuring the geo-technical reliability of buildings and structures and facilitating improved living standards of Arctic residents during climate change processes.Applications are accepted on or before June 30.
