The updated strategy of Yakutia’s socioeconomic development will provide for establishing energy clusters and transborder transport corridors as assigned to the republican government by Head of the Republic Aysen Nikolayev, the regional press service reports.
“It is important to shift to a high-wage economy based on higher labor productivity. The strategic goal remains the same: people-centered. We will seek global competitiveness of human capital by creating conditions for growth in income, quality of life, and life expectancy for the people of Yakutia,” emphasized the Governor.
In the first half of 2026, the draft law will be discussed; its implementation plan will be conceived and proposals on a new list of programs will be submitted.
The term for carrying out the republic’s Socioeconomic Development Strategy will be extended until 2035. It will be synchronized with the basic documents of strategic planning of the federal and republican levels.
